Default Bumps on the felt side

So I seemed to have two "bumps"or "swells"on the felt side of my strop. Could be I splashed a couple of drops of water on it.
Does anyone have any tips on flattening those down?

Same happened to me on an old strop I had. better there than on your leather. I always make sure my linen is facing out, that way when my wife gets out of the shower and flings her hair the leather side doesn't get water marks on it. On felt, I'm not sure there's much you can do except maybe ironing it. Really, I don't think it should effect anything by having some raised spots. Like I said, better there than on the leather side.

Ditto. It is from water on mine too and the solution was the same. It bothered me until I figured out what it was from and found the solution.
