No idea Mike, I'll certainly look him up though.

I've been out of the loop for a while, so I'm very sorry to read in Nic's post of the passing of Neil Miller. I've got a few of Neil's strops. He was always a pleasure to deal with, and a treasure trove of knowledge on the subject ... as we was on many subjects. I'll probably put my Neil Miller shell strops away now, as they were unsurpassed in performance.

I've got a strop from Torolf (Scrupleworks,) and it is my "daily driver.." Again, top notch products and service, and if I needed another strop (which I decidedly don't, as if that means anything) it would be, once again, from Scrupleworks.

Godspeed.. Neil Miller. The shaving world has lost one of it's best....

I've recently added a Westholme strop to my collection Alistair work is pretty much as good as it gets, he sells cordovan shell and I recently picked up a new batch of Horside he had in, the draw was medium to heavy which pretty much takes a lot of getting use to if you like me are use to using a very slick Knayama having said that it's a very fine strop, here's my Westholme strop.

    Ohhhhh no!

Looks as though there may be a new strop in my future...

Since Neil Miller passed away who are the "go to" strop makers in Europe?

Being in the UK if I ordered from outside of Europe there is a strong possibility of tax and fees being charges which would bump the cost up quite a bit, hence trying to stick within the EU.

I won't. It's not very pretty. It's also full of buzzwords and superlatives. And it's got an empty page that says "kangaroo strops". I have yet to see a well made Kangaroo strop*. This type of leather looks and feels flimsy, irrespective of its typically impeccable performance.

*Unlike rule 34, there is an exception here, the Jimboroo. But that is another story entirely.

Actually, you may be treading a fine line here by posting your URL without being listed as a Vendor - in fact, you may have crossed it. Very strict rules about advertising here, and rightfully so.

Scrupleworks are superb. I have a Swedish bridle by Torolf and could say nothing but superlatives about it. I have heard Westholmes are nice from a few guys I know in the UK but have not used one myself.

Sorry gents! Have to hold my hands up to that one. So many forums and different rules its hard to keep track. I will look into registering as a vendor.

    Once again, apologies.
