Cutting Off Flaps
Hi all! I've been going at for only a short time now and going a little farther with my shave each day. Anyway, I did just fine stropping for the first few times but then I noticed a small "fillet" toward the handle. I then became more aware of my technique, only to make things worse. I now have another fillet toward the other end. These cuts are paper thin or thinner and about 1/16" triangle. Should I try to glue them down or just whack them off? If I cut them off, what should I use? I have plenty of double edge razor blades. It seems to me if I glue them they will stick up due to the glue thickness. Sorry if this has been posted elsewhere. I tried doing a search but there was just too much to sort through so I thought I'd use the direct approach.
Thanks!
Gary

you could try gluing if big enough other wise just sand them out the remove the edges
Saved,

If so thin that glue would make them sit proud then trim and sand the area smooth again
My wife calls me......... Can you just use Ed

I leave the little flaps on mine, they are a reminder to be careful and take my time!
