Thread: Ah ha moment

Last night I dug out my first Canadian taper fade soap and my friodur 5/8 and was feelin pretty good about a nice evening shave. As soon as the blade hit the strop something just clicked. The rhythm felt right, the pressure felt right, the tension on the strop felt right and the sound of the blade on the leather was magical! When the blade hit my face I knew it was perfect. Ive never had trouble with my stropping but last night everything clicked and I knew I had really figured it out. All the reading and asking advise paid off. Thanks guys!

I think we have all had these. I had a several of them in the first six months.
