Hi I'm looking for any history for (D.&W.H. Earle's Electric Magnetic Steel Hone and
I recently bought a razor lot from the bay. I bought 20+ razors and it came with this very interesting hone/strop. I really enjoy the history of all shave related gadgets and would be very happy to learn any info on these very cool strops as well as the company. Any input will be highly appreciated.

That's really neat! I'll stay tuned to see if any info turns up. There are a few around here I bet will come up with something about that. I haven't found much yet...

That is one cool looking device, The name D. & W. H. Earle's I'm assuming these were all family members. Furthermore the patent for this device was filed Apr 7, 1863.
