It is a darn fine fabric for stropping. Smooth and no buzz.

If you want to play you can flip it and pick up some sub micron CeOx, Diamond or CBN and apply it to
the 'back'. The big value for a fabric strop is to clean the razor so the leather stays clean
and smooth, the hard felt will do that.
