Default Need info on a vintage strop

    Hi all,
I just won a vintage Russian Wagner barber's end strop on eBay. One side is red and has a diamond pattern pressed into it, and the other side is smoother. Does anybody have any info on this strop? Is it shell?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    I have a Wagner strop, a #3357. Sweet thick-backed shell.
No doubt they sold lots of different ones, though.

Yes Sir they are nice! I just received mine in the mail today. It's almost 1/4" thick and nearly flawless! It says genuine Russian. Not really sure what type of leather though.
