Sorry - no idea for a time period, but I do know that I still regret not picking one of those up once when I found one in great condition for a fair price. I've always thought it would make for a handy travel option.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

Again, I have no idea of the time period but if the price was right I would have walked away with it. It might be that you could get a new belt for it if the one it has isn't serviceable.

I hope you find out what you want to know, and if I was you I would be back to that store in a hurry.

I see it says warranted on it and I have heard people use that as a way to date razors, I don't know if it will have any bearing on this, but I am very curious to know myself.

Easy to change belts if the action is clean. Tandy or local shoe maker shop may have leather to do it with. An old well used belt will do it well!

I got one and the belt is worn out. Not worth stropping on. Also the mechanical part is rusted up so its only a decoration. But i got one.

Well I went back and bought it. For under twenty bucks, how could I refuse. Directions say to treat it with sperm oil. Since whaling is a thing of the past, I guess she is a cute conversation starter. Leather on both sides is still soft and doesn’t have any nicks.
