Performance is very good but i am sure it will get even better in a month or two of using, glassy but magnetic in a way, kinda sucks the bevel to it.

Not necessarily better just different and it's a difference I like, at one time i had over 10 strops and just could not quit buying them and then I realized that more than one or two was more than enough so i went on a quest to try all sorts of leather from oil tanned HH to cowhide to cordovan and pretty much every thing in between. I contacted Alastair and he was so generous that he sent me one of each one of his strops at no cost but i had to promise not to cut any of them so after two weeks on each strop I decided on the shell cordovan and then made lots of different design changes so it took longer than most as I requested engraved handles with engraved Chicago screws so the whole process took about 4+ months but I was in no hurry and was enjoying the strop testing.

The reason for the sale is the strops I listed were sitting on a shelf and going unused, all are what I call new and the Kanayama was never taken out of the package so rather than let them sit I decided to sell them off so now all I have left are 5 and they are a Kanayama 70, a treated TM Spanish Bridle with 3-Ply handles and one untreated and then i have the Westholme Cordovan and a Rasurpur paddle with 4 panels and thats going to be my total strop collection, i plan on using the funds towards another razor like i need one

Very nice! I'm sad I was slow to see your post. Would have loved the scrupleworks strop. I have been considering a few options.

Currently have only the TM Oil tanned left, the Kanayama is SPF, all other have been sold and received funds and are packed and ready to be shipped.

Great looking strop, one day I will get a higher end strop, but for now, I use a few in my routine. I have firehose, two Tony Miller, some vintage, and I use a combination each time. Would love to add one of these to the collection
I am very appreciative of all the knowledge and sharing each and everyone has provided me with. Look forward to future endeavors with many of you.

Very nice strop Will. I am sure it is more beautiful in person. I love the factory "Horween" stamping on the back of the strop. It just adds something to the strop.
