    Default Custom Westhome Cordovan Strop

Well my strop from Alastair finally got here and it's more perfect than the pics he had sent, the detail along with some custom changes I made to the D rings and chicago screws really set it apart visually and the stropping leather along with the natural linen are just perfect.

Nice looking Strop. Would sure like to see what those are like in person.
The pictures of some of these strops rolled up or folded over make them look like they are more pliable than the bridle leather I made my strop from.
Decorative D rings are a nice touch.

I have two Tony Miller Spanish Bridle strops and they are both rather thick compared to this shell.

Very nice strop you got there. I love the fact of the stamp still on the back of the leather. Pretty cool!

Shell is thinner than regular hide. It is more durable though. I have a shell watch strap that is a decade old, and showing no sign of ever wearing out.

That is really nice. I am considering one myself. How does it perform?

I have one in cordaven and linen it’s all I use now workmanship is as good as any strop out there and the performance and feel is spot on. After six months of use both linen and leather feels even better .

    Expensive but worth every penny
