Thanked: 6Homemade Latigo hanging strop
Seeing as my old hanging strop was pretty much used up, I decided to have a go at making my own. I used 2.5" latigo calf and nickel chicago screws. The handle is just two pieces of scrap leather I cut and folded, and then dyed black. I just bought an old firehose to use as a linen side, but for now it's just leather. All in all it cost me about 35$ and took me about half an hour to make. For a first time leatherworking project I'd like to think it came out pretty darn well.
Im posting the whole process I used on instructables.com"I guess you done bought one too many damn toasters"
