    Looks good. Do you have something like a framing square to use as a straight line? You said vintage fire hose. So that is used fire hose or you bought it new and it is vintage style?
    And where did you get that brass loop with the swivel hook? I've been looking for something like that.

    A long straight edge should help plus a third hand to help hold the straight edge. Two hands on straight edge works better. Its a good start. Looks like a nice piece of leather. Cant wait to try out the firehose myself soon. Maybe that firehose needs some ironing to flatten it some? Just guessing here.

    I seen those hooks on Amazon. I asked a member where he gets his and he sent me a link to them on Amazon. Not a bad price ether.
