    Question The History of Strops & stropping

    I brought up this subject in an other thread & it was said I should start a separate one so here it is. What do we know about the history of stropping edges on blades?? I don't know much of anything on the subject & I want to learn all I can.I am sure most of the rest of you are interested. SO please post any Info. you have on this subject!
