Default where to get replacement linen strops for srd 3" wide strops?

Looking at lynns website, it looks like he was out of just about all of the replacement strop material for his strops.

seems to me that I heard someone said that someone elses 3" replacement strop materials would fit these also. does anyone know where to get the linen ones?

The only one I can think of from the forum is Gabriel. @gabrielcr78

Since he makes strops, maybe he could hook you up. There's also Keith, who makes both leather, linen, firehose... Check out TomoNagura shop on Etsy.

Razor Emporium has 3" Canvas and several replacement leathers.

I remember hearing the hole spacing from mountain mikes is the same on SRD’s 3”, I have both so I can check for you tomorrow when I get home. The linen on the mountain mikes feels rough, the weave is pretty pronounced. Come to think of it I’ll take a picture of it too next to SRD’s polyester, too.

Sounds similar to SRD's premium linen component. Mine could benefit from a trip through the washing machine with some fabric softener.

So just got home and checked the strops. The Mountain Mike and the SRD 3” strops have the same hole spacing. Lengths are pretty similar with SRD being about a 1/4” longer. Hope this helps.

You can email or message me as the SRD strops were made identical in size to mine. I have both the 3" cotton like they used as well as 2 1/2" genuine Flax Linen.
