I can do replacement leather to fit these but don't usually do the long version.

I am in the same situation.

Does anyone knows what is the metallic material that is glued to the bottom of the pads so they can attach to the paddle? I was thinking to buy some pieces of leather and make my own pads, as soon as I find a thin enough metallic sheet.

    Thanks Tony.
When you say "usually," does this mean that you sometimes do have the longer version?

If I am cutting new hides, and depending on their size I can sometimes make longer pieces. I usually cut an entire side, back or bend into an assortment of my usual sizes all at once and then finish them as orders come in so most of my stock is already sized. I do keep a "want list" for special stuff and try to accommodate when I can.

I am a tall guy (6' 6") with long arms and really find the normal 17 1/2" or so of stropping length to be more than enough for me. I do enjoy my long more Traditional plain square cut end strops from time to time but even at 24" once you allow for what you hand holds you really don't get that much more length.

Tony any chance you'll be listing any 2.5" Barber End strops or are those custom order only?

    Thanks

I'll keep checking. Hoping to find one of those square end cut strops (no D-rings)

They are there now, might need to refresh your browser if using an old bookmark

    Thanks, Tony
