Thanked: 556I emailed Ian about getting hold of some kangaroo leather for strops since he was selling laces made from that. He promptly replied that was possible and all I had to do was send him the specs and he would provide a price.

Thanked: 0I've tried a few strops, recently got a Tony Miller one and it is top notch. You can tell he puts a lot of attention to detail in them and they don't break the bank.

With Straight Razor Designs and The Different Scent strops no longer available, I would go for Scrupleworks Strops. Their strops are the best in the market from my perspective.

At one time if you were careful and knowledgeable you could get some really nice vintage pieces on Eboy for reasonable prices. That's how I accumulated mine however that was quite a few years ago.
I have two of Tony's strops and they are very nice high quality pieces. I also have a Cordovan Strop (The Raven) from Imperial Shave which is probably the ultimate strop but they don't offer them anymore. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
