    I broke mine in over a cleaned piece of 3/4” steel pipe., the one I made that is. I also believe I washed the one I made on gentle and hung it to dry. I have another that came as a second on a strop, and I just used it as is.
    Both are very good strops.

    I have one from Victor, Bluesman7, and it is very good. A few years ago at the Texas razor meet I asked him how he made it so soft & supple. He said he washed it!

    Oh yeah, I forgot that I torched of the strays after softening.

    The fibers that mine was shedding before the softening were nasty, almost like fiberglass or rock wool. Didn't want to be breathing it every time I stropped. No problems after the treatment.

    Here's the response I got the next day (Sunday). Nice service!

    I don’t know what razor strop is? But the Suprema is simply much thicker and stronger. Normal webbing is like the handle of a bag.
