I can’t say enough good things about my new strop. I waited about two years. Right when I’d decided to order one Alistair took an 18 month leave. A couple months after he started making strips again he sent me a note. He had told me he had to shop for Cordovan then when he was going through everything he messaged he had a beautiful Burgundy and a black piece more than enough for a 3” strop. I had mine made with standard barber end and it comes with flax linen strop as well. It’s the first Cordova leather I’ve ever had. I’m impressed with the workmanship and detail. It’s strops incredible. The draw is fast and it will really put a mirror polish on the edge. For a high end strop I recommend Westholm Strops.
