    Default Death by tiny nicks

I have a horse hide strop that has a bunch of tiny surface nicks (due to me just starting out Learning to strop a couple of months ago and a certaint razor that might be going back on the Bay) how would I go about resurfacing the strop? I seen a video that used a chosera dressing g stone to lightly sand it down and then use shoe conditioner on it. (Not sure this is a good ide) or should I try and rubber cement all the nicks read that on the SRP wiki. Any advice is appreciated. Can provide picture later.
