What is .25 diamond spray liquid?
As I was looking through some stuff today I found and old bottle of .25 micron spray.
The trouble is that it is dry. You can see the diamonds left in the bottom.
I would like to reconstitute it but don't know what kind of liquid would be the best.
Any thoughts?

Alcohol?
You want the mixture to be thin enough to spray. I use on a linen strop every two or three years. If you don't care where you are, you are not lost.

Thanked: 55They all seem to be alcohol based but never say the other ingredients.
Alcohol is not a great carrier as it doesn't suspend anything in itself - its too thin.
Oil is not wanted. Perhaps glycerin or glycol, I don't know. I think they would both leave a residue.
You could try alcohol alone but shake well and immediately spray or you won't get any diamond out.
Need a chemist to chime in.
Just found this,

Thanked: 13249I just went ALL the way upstairs to sniff mine
I think it is simple Distilled Water, I get no hint of Alcohol,
You might try a mixture of Water and a tiny bit of Alcohol as a drying agent
We used that for years as a spray cleaner for Vinyl as DJ's 3/4 Water 1/4 Alcohol"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

I have used it as water based from syringe on strops for a bit. After that was nixed, I used it on blade faces some. Found some oii based in syringes later. Used that on blades too.
Still use them in restorations a lot but not on edges.
Never used spray, but it must surely be water based and fine to spray it I should think."Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.
