    Default Can this leather be used as a strop?

    I got these two pieces of leather from a friend, the only thing I know for certain is that it is 100% cow hide. If I scrub these with a leather conditioner/soap and do a very light sand to get rid of the shiny surface, can I use this for a strop? Thanks
