Thanked: 20I have been using a Tony Miller Latigo for almost a year now and i love it. I have not done any "serious" testing but it is a far superior product compared to the 45 dollar strop i owned before.
I was recently recommending SR related products to a co-worker who has been contemplating the use of a straight and recommended Tony's site under the title of "End-all be-all strop". I believe he has made the decision to purchase a cheaper strop to start with, while he gets the hang of everything, and he will later upgrade to the latigo and making the cheapy a pasted strop.
I also gave my brother my older strop but he has been itching to buy one from Tony ever since i showed him mine
Best of all.. I consider it supporting local and small business since Tony is only about an hour + away from where i live.

You can't do better for craftsmanship, service, or the warm feeling of supporting a conscientious, honest, all-around good guy than what you'll get from Tony.

Thanked: 4I tried ordering one of Tony's latigo strops this past week, but they were sold out. I did purchase on of his heavy linen strops to use with diamond pastes or Cr+Oxide on.
He has a $7.50 option to get a practice strop when you order one of his leather strops. This is a great option so that you don't hack up your heirloom quality strop.
Regards,
Trey

just keep checking, he's in business and makes them on a regular basis, although the demand seems higher than the supply and tony has not been willing to pay the cost to equillibrate them (rise prices, spend more time making strops and less with his family...).
