    Default Help me ID the maker of this (NEW) strop please!

    When I first started with wetshaving, I bought a restored razor and a brand-new handmade strop from... some dude I don't remember. The "fabric" part of the strop is made from a NASCAR seatbelt, and there is a "g" imprinted in the bottom of the leather. Any idea who made it for me?!?!?!

    I would say this is not a commercially made strop by a company. It was probably made by some guy who put his mark (G) on it. - looks like he did a good job.

    Just my opinion, of course.
