Thread: Mastro Livi Paste

Does anyone know where I can get the green Mastro Livi .5 micron stop paste that was sold in what looked like a fat crayon. Straight Razor Designs used to sell it and no longer do. I should have picked some up when I saw it, but assumed it was be around forever.

The only place I've seen it is SRD. Its probably worth emailing Lynn and Don and asking if they can get more.

Or go to Mastro Livi's site and see if you can order it there?

Sorry I cant be more help than that! I pulled the trigger on one of those crayons a while back, just because of the fact that I couldnt find them anywhere else but SRD.

Be careful when buying a green stick or bar. I bought a big bar from one of the woodworking sites [looked like a bargain at the time] and found it to be .5 micron PLUS some larger particles which did me no good as far as razor edges are concerned. Be sure you are buying .5 Micron or less.

I got my powder and paste from HandAmerican and I have no problem with the quality.

Looks like they have it again. It's on the SRD site now.

It's only listed in "The Sharpening Center" not in the strop section.

Did I just miss it there or did they just list it again?
