I just got a bottle of EQUIMINS PURE NEATSFOOT OIL and wanted to check out on Google, how to use it on my DOVO strop.
I landed on this page as a result and I'm happy now.
Thank You guys.

ACE hardware carries it, at least here in PA.

I usually apply some to my hand and work it into the leather. It really soaks into the leather very fast so you need to apply it very sparingly as you go.
Another side benefit is when you go out into the pasture you'll have a herd of cattle following you. They'll be glad to smell you.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Thanked: 0Pulled the trigger on three used strops. Maybe two 2 many? Anyway a few questions : Is mink oil OK to use, how about Lanolin, saddle soap ? Do I need to also buy some of that powder or paste to use each time I strop? Can't comment on their condition yet but one is said to be new. Yee-Ha ! 1 is a Illinois 827, another a Illinois a 206, the other is a used tan shiny no-name with two big D rings. The fellow said he used Fromms to keep it supple. Does it harm a strop to change from one kind of conditioner to another? Thanks.
