Hello, I'm new to the straight razor world so any help would be greatly appreciated. I purchased a Rick Butz paddle strop from woodcrafters. This strop has a brown suede leather. After looking at more strops online and this sight, it seems most strops are flat smooth oiled leather. Will the strop I have do well with straight razors. Also, with what and how should I treat this type of leather (paste, oil, ect). Thanks ahead of time for any help.
