MOst likely. I would say anything by that company is almost unusable. Get the proper equipment, because using that type stuff can ruin your experience.

    It is among the FAQ:

    Are Zeepk products any good?

We believe both their razors and strops to be worthless junk, and therefore warrant an extra entry in this FAQ. Brands of Straight Razors to avoid has a more detailed explanation

    Default Zeepk strop

    Hi,

I'm new to straight razors, and I've followed the consensus advice at this forum which has been very helpful, but for a strop I cheaped out & bought a Zeepk leather & linen strop for about $16. While it's 19" long, the usable length might be 12" which is very short. The rest of the length is the handle & their logo and metal end, . The leather has a very smooth or slick finish which probably isn't great (others could comment on that). The linen stop - a separate piece - has some grab to it and might do what it's intended to do - of course it's the same length.

I have now bought a RupRazor Filly for $20 delivered which I should have done from the start.

    Have a good shave!

I bought one early on also, and IMHO it's the slickness of the finish that's the problem. It has almost no draw at all. When I bought my Tony Miller strop and first tried it,it was like "Ahhh, that's what it's supposed to feel like".I think they can be usable, but something must be done to give it SOME draw.Neatsfoot oil, strop dressing?Something.......
