    Default lathering my strop

I left my strop in the same room that I cut a slurry stone. Long story short the dust got onto my strop and turned it into a pasted strop. I used saddle soap on it to get the rocks out and it worked great except my strop was dry and slick. I was reading a barber manual last night and it said to work lather into a strop to make it have more draw. Well, I tried this and it works excellently! I would reccomend it over leather conditioner. I have never had good results with it.

+1 to this. Lather on a strop is underappreciated/not well enough known. It's a great trick for sure!
