    Default spilled after shave

My idiot brother came into my room yesterday and he used my aftershave. He always does that without permission so it never bothered me until he spilled it on my TM strop. I was so ****ed but it happened and I can't take it back. I wiped off the most I can and the rest I thought it would just dry and it would be better today but I thought wrong. I just looked today and there is a giant circle stained onto my strop. Does anyone have any remedies to help me with my stain? Can I still strop with it?

    kooray,

I think you'll be ok with stropping, even with the stain in your TH strop. If you are concernined about the appearance of your strop, try this method to remove the stain. See if it works.

Remove Cologne and Perfume Spots From Leather, Suede:

Gently blot excess. Mix a solution of mild soap in lukewarm water. Swish to create a great volume of suds. Apply only the foam with a sponge. Wipe with a clean dry cloth. If an oily stain remains, powder the stain with an absorbent, such as cornmeal. Give it plenty of time to work. Gently brush (the method of using a stiff-bristled brush to gently remove dried stains and spots) it out. Repeat if necessary. On leather only, follow with Leather Cleaner & Conditioner or Saddle Soap to condition the leather.

I recommend you ask this (a bit more succinctly) here. It might be helpful to include the name of the aftershave, and especially, the ingredients, if known.
