Thread: Hmmm, did I ruin my felt?

Received my SRD paddle strop the other day (what a wonderful little tool, I love it). I put a couple lite sprays (one a day for two days) of the diamond spray on one of the felt pieces. I was quite careful to not over do it,,,, sprayed from ~ 12 inches with the felt verticle,,,, to the point that I wondered if enough of the mist was hitting the felt. One thing I noticed each time, was there would be a few small drops of spray that did not turn into mist, and hit the felt. I wiped these off as soon as I saw them, but now when I run my hand accross the felt, I can feel very small bumps where those drops hit. I can't imagine those bumps are good for a razor? Does anyone know of a way to restore the felt?
