Thanked: 530What more do you wish to know? Anyone who has used any of the SRD premiums will tell you -if they read this thread and reply- that they are all nice, supple, and -if you get the one with the right draw- perfect for draw.
They're all about the same thickness, and equally supple, just different feels of draw.

Thanked: 45I want to know what other folks would say in answer to my question, that's all. I have your answer, and am grateful for it, but would be happy to hear from other people as well.
Discussions about stropping routines, etc. . . . I would read them as well. But perhaps in a thread dedicated to those topics?

Like yourself I was unsure which strop to get, the ones that I had were really slick and they were kinda hard to control, anyway I chose the premium I it was quite flexible and the blade seemed to stick the leather better than my others. I have a horsehide with linen and a very thick full grain but since i got the premium I haven't used my other great draw and pretty flexible I don't regret it.

I'm also curious about the relative qualities of the various SRD premium strops have (as I'm hoping to see one in my house by the fall).
