no no no, just after honing as a futher polish or just when razor starts to pull a tadge.

just use normal strop for daily shave

+1 on that. I just use untreated felt/leater for everyday stropping, and diamond spray for touch ups or at the end of a honing sequence. Diamond spray doesn't get used very often.

I also have the padle strop.

    Daily:
    1. Untreated Felt
    2. Bridle Leather
    3. Premium I Leather
    Touch Up:
    1. Diamond Sprayed Felt (wipe blade)
    2. CrOx - on a home made balsa strop (wipe blade)
    3. Untreated Felt
    4. Bridle Leather
    5. Premium I Leather

    Daily stropping procedure

    1)scrub leather
    2)untreated felt
    3)bridle leather
4)premium 1 as my finisher.. this combination seems to work best for me

As a piece of advice, this is overkill. Stropping should take no longer than a minute.

2 grades max, either coarse and fine leather, or felt/linen and leather. Honestly, I know there has been a recent movement towards stropping progressions which was previously discussed, but this is for touch ups, not routine use.

    Just trying to help
