I think I saw some in the classifieds... Also, a few online shops have it. SRD comes to mind...

It is .3 micron. and arrived in 2 days. 1.5 oz looks like a life time supply.
They also show you the best way to apply it to fabric, felt or balsa hones.
Put it on lighter than you think it should be.

Thanked: 324I bought a pound of it and as much as I have to strop, hone, polish, it's still likely to be a lifetime supply.

Thanked: 335In the Classifieds go to "Strops and Hones" and scroll down to Chromium Oxide. Chris sells it in small packets. I think we put a bunch of on some paddles we had for door prizes at one of the Minnesota Razor Ups. A fine, fine green as I remember. Wear gloves when you play with it as at half a micron the stuff will get into anything and hang in there with remarkable tenacity.

+1 on Chris's packet. A little does go a long way. I would not only wear glove but one of those paper masks until you get it in a liquid base to apply it. Here is a tutorial Josh Earl did some time ago on pasting a strop.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
