powdered Cro-ox on linnen?
So i just got my Ill #827 strop in the mail today, and i have some powdered cro-ox i want to put on the linnen strop. So if i did my homework right, you put some distilled water and a drop of dishsoap in a dish then dip your finger in the cro powder and then mix it into the water, then apply to linnen using x x x x x x pattern,Am i on the right track??thanks

Yes, right track. Just do not breath the dust.
The key is to apply a very small amount in as dispersed and even
an application as you can.
Something lighter than this this
and not like this.
You can add more later but it is hard (near impossible) to remove.
You could also slightly moisten the strop surface with a spray bottle and then
dust the surface. A half of a pea size pile inside a 1x1 gauze
bandage might let you dust then rub the CrOx into the damp surface.
Some might lightly lather the strop so so the CrOx has something to stick to.

This method worked well on my canvas strop:

+1 on not adding too much of the stuff. It works better the less you use, so just a very light coat is needed.
