Great education. I have a Horween strop and like a lot of things you just don't give a thought to the process that brought it about.

If I am correct, the strop in question was sold in the classifieds and bought by me. I used it for a number of months then sold it recently to a chap down in OZ. I found the Russian side to be very interesting, I liked it better than linen for the ZIP it provided. However the strop in general was too stiff for my liking. The razor was just skating across the surface and was hard to get feedback or draw from. The strop is excellent, don't get my wrong, but I found myself preferring the feel of a strop with even a little more give. I have a new one in the mail to me this weekend from Texas, stand by for a review on that one next week.
