    Default Paddle Strop help

    I have a question ..

    I have bought a 2 sided paddle strop recently which is new. Must I condition it to break in? Can I use as is with out conditioning it? I don't have any oil on hand, but I do have shaving soap.

    what producer is it?

    most good strops come ready for use, however some conditioning/breaking in can be done to get it just the way you want it

    It is the 12" XL from Sharpening Supplies. I know I am sure it"s not the best. I bought that before I found a better one on the classifieds. I have a SRD premium coming soon.

    i do not know this strop so either you must test it yoursenf or mabe someone here actually have tryed it
