    Default Strop Emergency

    OK, here's the challenge.

Your 1,000 miles from home and need a CrOx strop immediately. You'll be in the same location for a solid week and can get mail here.

    What would you do?

My main strop is an SRD web/bridle. My thought was to order a web/premium I from SRD and use the new webbing as the CrOx, with a daily routine of web/bridle/premium as some here do.

    But I'll entertain any ideas.

I guess it comes down to whether it could arrive in time before you leave. If it could; you would at least have a back up piece when you got home. Or maybe a little toothpaste on a belt? I've never tried it, but suppose it could work in an emergency.

I'd use some newspaper. About 100 passes ought to do it. Use a page of advert that has lots of ink.
    Namaste,

If it is just a week, why not just use a disposable razor to get you by?

You could use a pair of Jeans.

    Oh, ah, I see.

You definitely need the Premium I. Order it now! Make sure to add the CrOx as well. By the time you get it, you should have one day to actually use it while you are away from home and a lifetime left to use it as you see fit. Purchase Justified

I'd get some green paint and a piece of balsa from the local hardware store.

Actually, I'm serious. I've been looking forward to this vacation and having time to really enjoy a my shaves. Being a newbie, I just didn't plan well and my edge is going away.

Will the newspaper thing really work? I do see your point about the timing of any kind of delivery, but will probably go with that setup when I get home.

Yes, newspaper will work as long as your edge is Ok already, which we assume it is if you are considering CrOx.
