People have been asking me what the work schedule would be so for a rough idea here it is.

You get up at four in the morning and start a fire and cook the first meal and since everything is scratch you have to chase the chickens to get the eggs and milk the goats and build a fire. Then you have to walk 3 miles to the river and bring back 20 gallons of water then you have to turn the dead animal carcasses and start flogging them for 3 hours. Then you have to go tend the goats and bring them back from the hillside 5 miles away. Then you have to go out and find the natural ingredients for the secret preliminary tanning solution and mix it up. Then you have to cook dinner which means grinding the wheat with primitive tools and of course going out and hunting for game and dressing it out and bringing it back. Then you have to walk back to the river for another 20 gallons of water and bring back some fish also. Then you get to relax and it's to bed by 8PM. You do this 6 days a week.

So what do you do on Sunday? You get to help out digging a new well with pick and shovel all day. Oh, also you have to sleep in the barn there's no room in the house.

    That's about it.

I've got three kids... what'll that get me, huh?
What if he keeps 'em indefinately? Would I get a new strop every three months? Three Kids... 3 strops every three months... finally, those brats are good for something!
    I'm down with that...

I can use to loose a few pounds. Count me in! All this desk work is catching up with me. Can Carrie and Jr come along too?

    Question

    Hi Joe,
That's 3 people. Maybe you have a choice:

    1) 3 months, 3 people = 3 strops
    2) 3 people, 1 month - 1 strop

But, come to think of it, that may not bode well for the rest of us who rely on CarrieM's creams

    1. Can Carrie trade in her creams for strops? That'll save you from going...win for you, win for us, win for Carrie

    2. Would creme supply dry up for the rest of us if she goes with you?

LOL, I'm always looking for a deal and I'm sure Carrie will find a way to keep her shave creams available. If we go it may effect shipping costs though.

On second thought, Carrie really tries to keep costs down so she may just make up a bunch and ask Holli to handle the shipping till we return. I doubt we will be able to go but it is a sweet dream!
