They sell both the leather and the hardware.

Here's the leather that he used: Tandy Leather Factory - Natural Cowhide Strips

    And the rings: http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/h...ure=Product_17

    And the rivets: http://www.tandyleatherfactory.com/h...ture=Product_7

Thank you, yes Tandy Leather sell the 3" D rings and the screws required for the strop i made. The D rings sell for about $5 a piece and the screws for another $5, you get ten to a pack.

Jake where can i pick up a bottle of Lexol? Is it something I will have to purchase online or do retailers carry it? I was going to run out tomorrow and get some foot oil but if this would be a better solution i would rather give the Lexol a try.

Any place that deals in saddlery or things of a westernish nature (places that sell a bunch of cowboy boots and whatnot) or even a grain and feed store should have it

remember, brown bottle, there are a few different kinds

I used the conditioner and it darkens the leather some and also makes it super supple, however you could go with the neatsfoot oil as many knowledgable members have said, either way your going to wind up with a nice end product
