Feedback on RupRazor strops
I've been looking into getting a new strop, as I can't seem to get my current one flat no matter what I do. (Illinois 127)
Tony miller is out of stock, and I came across RupRazor strops and wanted to know what people thought of them. There is only one review in the review section, which is positive but written by someone with not a whole lot of experience (like me).
If anyone else has suggestions for a quality strop at an affordable price, feel free to drop the name or link.

I hear they are reasonably priced and good quality though I myself don't have one. If you do have the cash I would get the modular paddle it is soooooooooooooooooooooo worth it.

the only ruprazor strop i own is the filly which is a very good beginner strop however i must agree with the other post and say get a SRD modular paddle , u really cant go wrong with it and u can eventually switch out the premium pad for the english bridle pad which IMO is some of the best stuff out there

For the price, I don't think you can beat the Filly strop. I've had mine for over 6 months, and I haven't had a need for a new one yet. I did "modify" the strop by adding a 2" wide strip of poly webbing to the back for my fabric strop. Still, I don't even think that was necessary.
Comes with CrOx on the backside in case you need to hold off on a rehoning for a bit and don't have a barber's hone. Worth every penny.

I purchased a RupRazor 3" Paladin horsehide strop with the 2" canvass strop back in February when I bought my first straight razor. All I can say is I'm happy with it. It maintains the edge on my razors really well. I don't see myself purchasing another strop for a long time to come.
