    Default Balsa strop pasting question.

    I'm in the middle of making a balsa strop(it's clamped together while the glue dries at the moment). My question is, what should I use to lap it? I know it has to be on here somewhere but I can't find it. I appreciate any help.

    1. Does it need it?

    2. If it does, then use sandpaper. Start with a 320 grit and use a coarser grit if necessary. Finish with a 1000 grit or finer.
