    Default Thoughts About My Home Made Strop!

    I'm new and wanted to make a cotton/linen strop, so I looked on the wiki and saw how to make my own. So I cut up a pair of old Carhartt's and made a few strops. I used 2" D-rings. I have a few questions though. Is this fabric to rough? How many strokes should I use pre and post shave. Thanks in advance to everyone who responds!

    hmm...hows cotton compare to a linen or leather strop..lets say from SRD?


    Very creative and looks really cool!..just imagine..someone uses the bathroom..looks for a towel grabs yer strop!..wow!..cool hand towel wiper!!...
