    Default Strop Storage

So, I'm sure most people don't have a problem with this, but some people do... How to store your strops in a manner that keeps them straight and safe... Maybe you live in an apartment, or a dorm, or just don't have much room for storage. Whatever the case may be, these are cheap, work great, and take up very little room. They also leave no residue and are easy to move.

Walmart.com: 3M Command Medium Hooks Bulk Pack: 12 Hooks, 24 Medium Strips: Home Improvement

Just figured I'd toss these out to anyone looking for an easy solution... I have a lofted bed on campus, so I slap a few of them on the inner rim of the loft, and hang my strops near the wall... They're plenty strong to hold a strop and then some... Just don't use them to hold the strop while stropping, they won't do that well.

Hope it helps someone, they helped me.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy

If I am storing strops ( I think I have about 40 stored atm ), I wrap them in newspaper or butcher's paper and lie them underneath my clothes on the shelf. But those hooks look good too.

Ah, well, Jimbo, you're in a different situation, Mr. Roo.

I use all my strops often enough that this keeps them at hand, but out of the way.

And I still have a hook set aside for yours... I'm just going to sit here and twiddle my thumbs til that hook is filled.

I use butchers meat hooks for my hanging strops; they fit very nicely onto the cross-bar in my wardrobe

    Have fun !
