    Default Stropping on one side?

    Hi,
    I have a straight razor that has a slight defect on one side but in good condition at the other side. Can I strop only one side and shave using this side only?

    Probably not. You need both sides of the bevel to be clean and sharp...

    I'm having a hard time imagining a defect that would only affect one side of the blade, as well... have a picture?
