That stinks. How deep is it? If you don't feel it while stropping you can probably just leave it alone. For something deeper perhaps look at this: Strop treatment and repair - Straight Razor Place Wiki.

You can use very fine sandpaper or a fine grained pumice stone to fix small nicks.

Don't worry things happen.
I have some slices in mine from trying to Hone on it accidental , I just went the wrong way a few times. I would definitely use the Wiki to see if it can be repaired and how to. Unfortunately I don't think mine are fixable, I just try not to go down to wehre the slices are.

Thanked: 9Think this happens to us all at some point, my first strop was a piece of junk, but i stuck at it, learned on it, nicked it, then when i was more confident, covered the whole thing with chrox powder and bought a decent one!
