Felt Question
I have an extra piece of hard pressed felt from another strop which I would like to use with diamond sprays.
Can I use a .5 diamond spray on one side and a .25 diamond spray on the other?
This strop would not have a second leather piece, it would only be the hard pressed felt.
Also does anyone know where I can purchase the leather pieces that connect the strop to the D ring?

Sure, I have an SRD hard felt that has .25 on one side and .50 on the other. Works great.

Not really. I don't hone very much, but I use the sprayed felt after touching up a razor on a high grit hone or I use it lieu of going to a stone if a razor just needs a little tweak. Usually about ten strokes does the job. Lately I have been using the .25 surface more than the .50.
Which spray to use has a lot to do with what has been done just prior to using the felt strop. For example, if you just got a really keen edge from a very high grit finishing hone you might go directly to the .25. On the other hand, if you just noticed that the razor isn't cutting very well you might want to start with the .50 spray. There are a lot of variables so experimentation is clearly worthwhile.
