Hi all,
I was poking around Straight Razor Designs looking for equipment, and began noticing all the different materials that are used to make strops (horsehide, latigo, premium I&II leather, etc.). I was just wondering if anyone could help me out with the drawbacks/advantages of some of these materials (or point me to a thread/article that might help explain them). What do you prefer to use and why? I'm new to this whole straight razor thing, so this is pretty confusing . Thanks for the help in advance
