Hi Utopian. I had the impression that fabric of any sort was a first operation before going to plain leather - for normal daily stropping. Am I hearing rightly that the canvas or nylon web is adequate w/out leather? If so, it'll make some stuff easier.

(And BTW, your mineral oil/alchohol bath method is wonderful!)
