The KC Cushion strop is definitely different and works like a charm. It is perfect for traveling, there is no danger of creased leather or broken paddles. No, I am not getting a "cut"! LOL

Paddle
I have a SRD modular paddle and I love it you can interchange the pads which makes it so versatile.

WhippedDog.com sells pieces of leather as "travel strops", and also custom cut leather. A piece of that, glued to a plywood base, might make a fine paddle strop for travelling. Pick your own size.

Dups,
Paddle strops all the way for me
I use a paddle for all my daily stropping; when I go away on business I take the same paddle as I always use
I would recommend, as other have done, to get a modular paddle.
Either SRD, or Mr Neil Millers modular Modular Magnetic Paddle Strops - Hand Made in the UK
I have one of Mr Millers aluminium modular paddles, and it is superb
Have fun !
Best regards
