Default Strops used on NOS Le Jaguar.

Attahced are some pics of the strops used to finish up after honing a NOS Le Jaguar. This razor had never been honed. First pic is nun-to-sharps part of the KC Crews Hemp strop. This strop replaced the linen side. The advantage of the hemp strop is the loft provided giving more surface area for the blade to contact. It warms the blade and helps to clean and prep for the next strop.

The Neil Miller Buffalo strop is 3" wide and gives total coverage with out having to make an X pattern. Finish on the Kanayama 70000 to further polish and your razor is ready for shave test. Also pictured is a vintage ebony paddle strop refinished by Neil Miller. I have applied Cerium Oxide to also polish or refresh blades as needed.

The Swiss Army cleaning sticks are provided for the price of a cup of coffee from Starbucks. Snip off the ends to create angle which allows for cleaning the slurry out from around hinge pins. 1001 and uses. Scrubs-in-a-bucket clenaing cloth has d-limolene and Triclosan which will clean and sanitize blade
    have fun
